Like Lance, I was born and raised in the US but my interest in international travel began when I was 16 as an exchange student to Denmark. It was there that I began to get a greater perspective of the world as I met people with different views, from various countries and cultures.  Scandinavia definitely has a special place in my heart.

I have always been passionate about finding answers to some of life’s toughest questions, in a way that would be understandable to most of us. Being married to Lance, who my generation would refer to as a "brainiac", really has come in handy many times throughout the years.  In school, I was not the kid who excelled scholastically, I was much more relational, which lead me to my career choice.

After working as an Executive Assistant for many years, I went on to create my own home based business where I did coaching and training for large groups of people in the areas of balance, priorities and the value of preserving memories through photo albums, organization and preservation.  Besides, cooking, travel, dancing and watching sci-fi, my kids will tell you that I love organizing and labeling just about everything.

Lance

I have a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and am a certified Project Management Professional.  I have spent my entire career in product development for a major truck manufacturer where I use my broad technical background as a leader within Systems Engineering.  Over the years, I have developed my problem solving skills which I put to use daily at work and in my private life.  I have worked over half of my professional career outside the USA living in Sweden with my wife and our 3 adult children. My work colleagues would describe me as calm, which I partly attribute to having raised 3 kids.

On a more personal level, I find that my dry sense of humor usually goes completely unappreciated; although I quite enjoy it.  I also enjoy being in nature and watching nature shows. I am very comfortable with my faith in God and with Science.  And I find my active involvement with a local faith community to be a good outlet for my skills, my emotional side and my leadership.
